Tannin or Tallin?

Today I noticed a horrid transgression in my story “The Chapel of Eichtouaire”. Without any reason, Tannin’s name had mysteriously transformed to Tallin!

Even worse, I continued with this ‘Tallin’ imposter all the way through my second story in the anthology, “The Priestess”, having apparently completely abandoned Tannin at the end of the first story. I even called him ‘Tallin’ in the very first blog post of this site! So, a question naturally arose: should I revert every instance of his name back to Tannin, or – scandalously – accept my brain’s weird desire to rename him.

The question shook me to my very core, made me question every belief I thought incorrigible, and changed me irrevocably as a person.

It took me about two minutes. I just like ‘Tallin’ better, and I really have no idea why.

So, that story has been edited. As a side note consequential to this crisis, please keep in mind that as I review old stories, I will inevitably find some errors with verbiage, spelling, or consistency, and will edit them… and I might not even say anything about it.

That’s about it. Just a short explainer for anyone who might have noticed the inconsistency of Tallin’s name in the short few days that story has been published.

Thanks for being here.
