I’ve finished the second story of my anthology “The Expeditions”, once more following Tallin as he finds himself involved with a strange priestess from the north. You can read it here.
This one is significantly longer and heavier with worldbuilding than the first, fleshing out the setting and introducing plenty more characters. Essentially, I’m hoping to give the reader a slow realization that we’re transitioning from a simple horror story toward a real narrative.
On top of that, “The Priestess” begins introducing the reader to several geographic locations. I understand that a lot of people struggle with immediate comprehension of cardinal directions and keeping track of a made-up world’s geography in their head (myself included) so I am working on a map to be one day published here for everyone’s reference. I hope this current lack of a map doesn’t hamper anyone’s enjoyment of the work, however, since I did my best to keep it from having a huge impact on the meat of the narrative.
I can also understand if the layout of these posts aren’t particularly conducive toward a pleasing read, especially for longer stories such as this one. Rest assured that the site will go through a major overhaul before long, and readability will be my top priority.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy. As always, thanks for being here.
